CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program designed to help those struggling with  hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  It is based on the actual words of Jesus and not psychological theory.

Damac in Concert

Celebrate Recovery invites you to a special concert on Monday, August 20th at 6:30 pm, featuring Christian Hip Hop/Rap artist; "Damac".  While there will be no door charge, we will take an offering for the artist.  Damac has released three albums (Immaculate, Supremacy, and Journey) selling over 5,000 copies independently.  He has opened for some of the biggest names in Christian music such as David Crowder, Building 429, Family Force Five, Tenth Avenue North, Trip Lee, Derek Minor, We Are Messengers, Plumb, Gungor, and Propaganda.  Damac is in town to perform at a local youth function and is giving us the opportunity to have him come and share with us as well.  Check out his videos on YouTube (Damac, Beautiful Nights). Contact James Cox (918-314-2096) for more information and make plans to join us on Monday, August 20th.

New Bible Study

Proverbs 6:16-19, "These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

  1. A proud look,
  2. a lying tongue,
  3. hands that shed innocent blood,
  4. A heart that devises wicked plans,
  5. Feet that are swift in running to evil,
  6. A false witness who speaks lies,
  7. and one who sows discord among brethren."

If you are struggling with one of these areas in your life, it's time to get serious about it.  The Celebrate Recovery step study is a Bible study that helps us see where we fall short in our Christian walk and gives us encouragement and accountability to put God first.  This is a long-term study and there is a curriculum fee.  Contact Nancy Reeves for more information.

Seeking Volunteers

Celebrate Recovery is seeking volunteers to lead a small group for teens using The Landing (turn-key) curriculum that coincides with the lessons for children and adults.  If you are interested, please contact Nancy Reeves (405-514-9990).
