Faith Crossing is committed to the purpose of seeing children grow in Christ. As a ministry team, we try to offer our children activities that are interesting, attentive to their needs, and focused on loving God, sharing life together, and meeting the the needs of others.
On Sundays at 9:00 A.M. The children are divided into groups, grades K-2 and 3-6. The time of Bible Study gives children the to learn in a small group setting. Each teacher follows a prepared, age-appropriate curriculum. The Children's Ministry also meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM.
Faith Crossing Baptist Church Women's Ministry T-shirts are available to order at a cost of $20 with funds going towards the playground fund. They come in two colors, Berry and Royal Blue. Operation Christmas Child
Faith Crossing family did awesome collecting enough items last year to provide 120 OCC shoeboxes that ended up in Haiti. I pray God provides a way for us to get a glimpse of the impact that these shoeboxes have on these kids, and we're able to send even more shoeboxes this year.
You can donate items throughout the year and put them in the OCC collection box in the foyer. As you are out shopping this year, look for items on sale or clearance for the boxes. Items we collect for boys and girls ages 2-14 are: small toys, jewelry for older kids, toothbrushes, combs, brushes, washcloths, bars of soap, pens, pencils, note pads, coloring books, crayons, stickers, shirts, flip flops, gloves, hats, scarves, markers, colored pencils, etc. What we CANNOT send is candy, liquid items, and toothpaste. If you're new to OCC and want ideas, look at the OCC website or Facebook page. Each month we try to collect certain items for the boxes as an idea, but you can bring any item at any time throughout the year. Collection item for August: School supply items, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, etc. (No Glue). If you have any questions, see Kelly Jones (405-620-5585) or Valerie Simer.
