Children’s Christmas Program, Candlelight Service, and Cookies and Cocoa

On Sunday, December 23rd at 6:00 PM the Children’s Ministry will be putting on a short Christmas program. The program will be followed with a Candlelight Service after which the Women’s Ministry will be hosting Cookies, Cocoa, and Cider.

Christmas Brunch and Cookie Exchange

The Faith Crossing Women’s Ministry will be having a Christmas brunch and cookie exchange on Saturday, December 15th at 10:30 AM at the home of Jenni Allen.  Her address is 12412 Lapis Lane, Oklahoma City, 73170, Rockport Neighborhood off S. Portland Ave between SW 134th and SW 119th.  The entrance to Rockport is east of Eagle Heights Church and South Lake Elementary.  A sign-up on Perfect Potluck will be forthcoming with items to bring if you would like to help.  If you plan to attend, please message Jenni Allen on Facebook, email her at or call 759-3732 (leave a message if needed) so we can get an approximate headcount. 

Quarterly Church-Wide Business Meeting

The regular Quarterly Church-Wide Business meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 19th at 6:30 PM. We will be voting for Committee and Team Members, and Teachers, the budget for 2019, plus other church matters.

Church Advisory Council Meeting

The Church Advisory Council meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 6th at 6:00 PM. We will be going over budget numbers at that time.

The Church Advisory Council shall consist of the Senior Pastor, all ordained ministerial staff, the Moderator, Treasurer, Church Secretary and the Chairperson of the following committees or organizations: Deacons, Trustees, Finance, Property, Ministry Placement Team, Bylaws, Risk Management and Ministerial Operations.

Church Advisory Council. To achieve excellence in the ministries of the Church and to keep Church leaders actively informed of the other aspects of the Church's ministries, the Church shall have a Church Advisory Council which shall meet no less than twice a year. The Pastor shall present a brief report on the health of and any significant issues confronting the church. The Deacons and the Chairpersons of the various teams represented on the Advisory Council shall give a brief report on their activities and any significant issues of which they are aware. The purpose of the Church Advisory Council is to keep the leaders informed and to allow them to prayerfully discuss and provide guidance concerning matters material to the ministry of the Church.
